theDenverEye.com is a fan site paying homage to an incredible man named Jim Macklin who devoted countless hours to a website he called The Denver Eye. I have never met the man, but I was a big fan of his photoblog. After years of regular updates to The Denver Eye and later his Facebook page, he has moved on to other endeavors. But much like his pictures of historical Denver days long past, this website is also reviving the past.
As a tribute and homage to Jim Macklin, we are trying to bring back as much of his original website as possible to share with the world. I learned a lot about Denver’s history, as well as architecture, art, and much more, and I hope you learn something too!
